Great win for Australia in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Not the nail-biter I was hoping for and disappointing for India, but a splendidly emphatic show from Australia.

🏏A real shame to see England knocked out of the Women’s T20 World Cup in this way. But them’s the rules. However, now that Australia have beaten South Africa, I shall look forward to the Australia vs India final. And Poonam Yadav doing her thing.

🏏 Very happy to see England win the 4th Test against SA and win the serie 3-1. And good to see Mark Wood come back into the side and have such an impact, after all his injury problems.

Test cricket is often described in terms of its ebb and flow, but this 3rd Ashes Test has taken that concept to the extreme. An outstanding win for England. Ben Stokes’ innings was an extraordinary display of skill and perseverance. Jack Leach’s supporting role at the other end was superb.
